Am Wasser in Alt Reddevitz

Nice, small restaurant with a fantastic location right on the water. But the food and service are also very convincing. We have been here on every vacation in Rügen so far and it has always been delicious.

The boss is the funniest guy on the whole of Rügen ... oh well, all of Mecklenburg Western Pomerania. The restaurant is great too. The view is fantastic and the staff are always nice.

Very cozy and "quaint". A small Baltic pearl right on the water. Stop by during the bike tour, enjoy a cozy ducksteiner and the food is also very tasty. And the whole thing right on the water, it couldn't be better!

Unfortunately, I cannot agree with the praises of this place. We went to this restaurant on Monday, September 1st, 2020 at 8.30 p.m. after a long day and asked politely at the counter if we could get something to eat. Then the guy behind the counter said "no" in a totally unfriendly tone and we should look at the clock. We wouldn't be in Berlin here. On the street we met a couple from Munich who were so greased in front of us by the "nice gentleman" when asked about dinner. This guy is completely out of place in gastronomy. Better to work for an undertaker. Customers don't need to eat anymore and don't ask friendly questions. For us it's very clear: never again.

A very, very nice young courteous team. Very dog-friendly and loving. The ambience is modern. Inside and outside you have a direct view of the Baltic Sea. The food was delicious and it was quick. Bravo we'd love to come back.

Unfortunately there is only one star here. Although it wasn't really busy, the service was very overwhelmed. We had already 20 min. wait until someone even came to ask us what we would like to order.

Great location, great view and friendly service. We were already here for the second time and would love to come back. The food is super delicious, there’s nothing to complain about. A star suit for unfortunately a bit too high prices in relation to the portion size.

Very good food and drink. A beautiful view of the lake and a very noble establishment. The dishes are expensive, but they taste all the better. The sizes of the dishes are sufficient and the service is very nice. Evening or night, the place is very nice.

Nicely located, albeit currently next to a construction site. Overall, we are satisfied, the waiter was friendly and the food was delicious. The cake was very good and a really good portion. The matjes were also okay, one fillet was good the other satisfactory, together with the lentils and accessories quite solid.

Fantastic food and great attendance

Our burgers were delicious and the best, no 0815 "Pappbrötchen". The ambience is very nice and cozy, had a place on the terrace overlooking a lagoon. Unfortunately, our visit was not comfortable. When asked for a free table for two adults and a child, we were patterned and listless on two tables that there or there referred. Both operations were very nice, however, you often heard from the background (bartender or boss), in a very loud, harsh and authoritarian tone (almost shouting) what to do next. Could have been clarified quietly indoors at the bar in private. Now for dinner, the noodles of our child were overcooked, as already mentioned our burgers were excellent, but the fries were unfortunately superimposed by the ready French spice. Unfortunately, it was also a pity that there was no alcohol-free beer from a local provider, such as in other restaurants here. Finally, it would have been nice if asked how the food was and if you might also want a dessert or drinks. Now the question arises, was it our child that we had with us? The glass of our child was still half filled, but was simply cleared, although after the pay but could have been drunk. If all the tables had been occupied, one would have something for the indicated "sacking" understanding.

I dont understand these positive reviews. We were there last Saturday. View was lovely, nice terrace. People ok. But the food! The fish was dead long ago and no taste and horrible. What a shame! I have never post a review but this was so bad I feel i have to post this.
